Lyon, Minister, presided and the witnesses were Arthur Henderson and Marcus L. Godfrey. This was Leroy's third marriage, and Gertrude's second (possibly).

She worked in the order for over 50 years teaching school in many communities across Michigan, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. Sister Mary Cyprian died at the Motherhouse in Livonia, Wayne Co. MI, on 15 May 1973 at age 89. She was buried in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (Section 21, Lot 120, Grave 3) on 18 May 1973.

Frances Apczynski was born in Brodnica, Poland to Thomas and Mary Apczynski on 6 Mar 1886. She arrived in the USA with her parents and older sister in April 1887. Frances married Edwin J. Gerhard in Detroit around 1907. Edwin died young, and Frances later married Anthony Daksiewicz

Edwin J. GERHARD was born in Michigan to Adolph and Frances Gerhard in Aug 1882. He died in Detroit, before 1916.

Angela GERHARD was born in Detroit, Wayne Co. MI to Edwin J. and Frances (Apczynski) Gerhard on 22 May 1911. Angela died at age 37 on 4 May 1949, and was buried in a plot owned by her parents in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield, Oakland Co. MI; Sec 20, Lot 301, Grave 3.

Ted Zrull was born in Detroit, MI to Arthur and Mildred (Bazy) Zrull on 8 Sept 1927. When he was born, Art and Millie lived in an upper flat rental on Gilbert Street in SW Detroit, in the family's neighborhood. At age 3, his parents moved a few blocks west to St Lawrence Street. This was a largely Polish neighborhood and they felt forced to move again in 1939 when Hitler invaded Poland. They settled in a new home in Dearborn, on North Melborn, near Ford and Telegraph roads. Ted graduated from Dearborn High in 1946 and joined the Army. He served in the occupation forces in Japan. After he returned to civilian life he married Mary Lou Savage on 11 Oct 1952. Ted died on 4 Sept 2000, and is buried in Cadillac Memorial Garden, Westland MI.

Mary Louise Cooper SAVAGE was born to Samuel and Angela Savage on 1 Jan 1931. She was a senior at Sacred Heart High School in Dearborn when her mother died in 1949. After graduating, Mary Lou kept house for her father and helped raise her younger brother and sister. Her father remarried shortly before her own marriage to Ted Zrull.
