The Jesus Evangelistic Ministry was started in 1995. Due to Civil War in Liberia an unstable security situation confined our outreach between 1995 and 2003. Regardless the Ministry had tremendous success in the area of soulwinning, counselling and healing. Now that the National security has improved with the War ending, our activities have immensely increased to include Crusades and other public outreaches.
STATEMENT OF MINISTRY PURPOSE:
Jesus Evangelistic Ministry exists for the purpose of Seeking the Lost,
serving the Least and Last.
MINISTRIES AND OUTREACHES:
Evangelism, Church planting, community developement and relief.
AREAS OF SPECIAL ANOINTING:
Doctrines on which we stand and work.
1. Jesus Evangelistic Ministry is fervently evangelical. We believe in the centrality of the biblical Gospel and the urgency of proclaiming this Gospel to every creature. We believe that the Gospel is the power of God and is His only message and His only method for saving and transforming human beings.
2. Jesus Evangelistic Ministry I is essentially reformed. This means that we adhere to the essential core teachings of the Reformation. These essential truths are summed up in the five solas and the five doctrines of grace. The five solas include Scripture alone, faith alone, grace alone, Christ alone, and to God alone be the glory. The doctrines of grace include total depravity, unconditional election, particular redemption, effectual grace, and the final perseverance of the saints. To be reformed, however, also means to be always reforming. All doctrine should be carefully examined in the light of Scripture and should not be accepted solely because of tradition.
3. Jesus Evangelistic Ministry roadly charismatic. We believe that every Christian is indwelt by the Holy Spirit at salvation and is therefore complete. However, a believer may also experience further fillings of a deepening communion with the Holy Spirit. We affirm that the gifts of God?s Spirit are biblically valid for today and reject the teachings of the secessionists. We also maintain that all gifts from God will conform to the Scriptures and will bring Him glory. In a broad sense, every Christian is a “charismatic” Christian because every Christian receives “charisms” or grace gifts from the Holy Spirit.
4. Jesus Evangelistic Ministry heres to the baptism of believers alone. We believe that the only proper subjects for baptism are disciples of Jesus Christ, those who by their profession of faith and obedient life show evidence of true conversion. While we maintain fellowship and sometimes co-labor with aped Baptist Christians, we deny that the baptism of infants is a valid exercise of the ordinance of baptism. Only those born again by the Holy Spirit are true members of the church of Jesus Christ.
