MARCHANT COOKE OF N. C. TO FRANCIS JARVIS COOKE OF BRENHAM CHAPPELL HILL
AND HEMPSTEAD 1816-1903. HE WAS A VETERAN OF THE TEXAS REVOLUTION AND MADE
THE CHARGE AT SAN JACINTO AS AN 18 YEAR OLD PRIVATE.

Zientek Family Reunion
34th Annual Zientek Reunion
The reunion will be held Saturday July 27, 2002 at the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church Parish hall in Chappell Hill, TX from 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM. A catered BBQ dinner will be served around 5:30 PM or 6:00 PM. For your enjoyment, Bingo will be played after dinner. There will also be door prize & raffle prize drawings. Any door prize donations & Bingo prize donations will be very much appreciated. We hope to see any Zientek relations there. All is welcomed. Ruemke Reunion
All Ruemke descendants are invited to the annual Ruemke Family Reunion. It
is held in Brenham each year on the second Sunday in June. For further

THANE REUNION
The 35th Thane reunion will be held Sunday, July 15, 2001 at
Washington-on-the-Brazos State Park. Activities will include a catered
noon meal, family photographs, business meeting, raffle, silent auction
and talent show. The reunion will be hosted by the Walter Thane family
of Navasota.
A pre-reunion tour will be hosted by Bill Thane of Brenham Saturday
afternoon of July 14. Tour stops will include the Richter house at New
Wehdem, the St James Lutheran Church at New Wehdem, the Emshoff house at
New Wehdem, the Winkelmann place at Kenny, the Salem Lutheran Church of
Brenham, the Adolf Wegener home near Burton, Independence and William
Penn.
