This is a very unusual place to eat.  Don't be scared away by the appearance.  I was told they have the freshest Grouper sandwiches in KW by a viewer (Carol from Miami).  Mike Eden (proprietor of Eden House) confirmed this, so we tried it.  Wow, they were right.

 

Buddy Owens (that's  B.O.) gets his Grouper fresh each day from Mararthon Key.  The sandwich is superb,  Don't forget the fries, but order them crispy.  The potato is cut when you order - it doesn't get fresher than this.  If you like malt vinegar with your fries, it's on the table along with the ketchup (in a Corona 6-pack).

 

If you happen to be from Baltimore and are an Orioles fan (I am neither) Buddy is a close friend of Boog Powell.  If you have to ask, "who's Boog Powell", you aren't from Baltimore or don't know baseball, or both.
