Water Filtration Plant
This red brick building was built in 1934 and renovated and enlarged in 1954. This facility supplied approximately
1.5 million gallons of chemically treated water per day to the town as well as the mines. This water treatment plant
remains on line today supplying fresh treated water to the town folk.
