Mine Office and Bath House Building

Stone used in the building of this structure will be found through out the major buildings of this past mining operation. Housed the Employment Department, Payroll Department and Mine Engineering Department. 90% of this building was a bath house and in its prime served three shifts of 4,500 for bathing as well as storage of work clothing. The bathing area consisted of the major portion of the building. About 80% for white [an inner wall] and the other 10% for black. [A segregated area]
