Fire House Building and Plant Protection Offices

The ground level of this building housed the equipment [a fire hose rolled on a cart which consisted of two large wheels]. This device had to be pulled manually by people power if ever needed. The second level housed the plant protection offices and was staffed by uniformed policemen who were the law enforcement of the town.
