A trained and certified professional teacher of the Alexander Technique having completed the 3 year, 1600 hour training at the Alexander Technique Training Center in Newton MA. I had the honor of training with Ruth Kilroy of Newton, MA and Rivka Cohen of Haifa, Israel, both of whom trained with Patrick MacDonald, a student of F. M. Alexander.

I am certified by the American Society for the Alexander Technique (AmSAT), the largest professional organization for Alexander Technique teachers in the United States. AmSAT establishes and maintains high standards for teacher training, certification, and continuing education.

PROFESSIONAL and TEACHING ACTIVITIES

Teaching privately since January 2006.

On staff teaching two weeklong workshops, Alexander Technique for Musicians and Alexander Technique for Dancers, at English Dance Week at Pinewoods August 12 - 19, 2006 and returning to teach during the summer of 2007.

Lead Intro to the Alexander Technique Workshop at the New England Folk Festival (NEFFA), April 2007

Member of the AmSAT News team beginning in 2005, doing layout and writing for the publication.
