The propulseur (atlatl) on the top is a replica of the hyena of La Madeleine (Dordogne, France). It is made of mammoth ivory (like the genuine piece), the handle is made of oak tree (with bison sinew). Length: 50cm. Please note that La Madeleine Cave gave the name of the culture.
The spearthrower on the bottom is the most famous piece from prehistory: le Faon aux oiseaux (ibex with birds) from Le Mas d'Azil (Ariege,
France). It is made of reindeer antler (like the authentic piece), and the
