Adam Vernier is a working but not yet famous actor in Los Angeles, California. The acting bug bit Adam at the young age of 4 when his mother sent in a photo to a radio station in Chicago that was looking for "blonde hair, blue eyed boys between 4 and 6 for a movie." After about 15 auditions the decision for the part came down to Adam and another boy. Adam didn't get the part. The movie was THE SHINING and the part was for Jack Nicholson's son "Danny". Adam has been acting ever since. While studying Theatre in college at Southwest Missouri State University, Adam started DJing parties, which led him to doing radio. By the time Adam graduated college, he had the number one radio show in Springfield, Missouri. Radio kept Adam off the stage for about three years and led him to a radio job in Orlando, Florida. Realizing he was distracted from his goal and being full of an urge to perform in front of people again, Adam returned to the stage in Orlando. He quickly got an agent and was back on the track to his true passion of acting. While in Florida, Adam landed many jobs, including a national Pizza Hut commercial with Ken Griffey Jr. that got him his SAG card. Getting restless in Florida, Adam realized it was time to take his craft to the varsity. Adam moved to Los Angeles in February of 1999. In his first year here, Adam costarred on such TV shows as THE X-FILES, NYPD BLUE, MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE, ANGEL, SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH, LA CONFIDENTIAL (pilot), DIAGNOSIS MURDER, BECKER, THE TONIGHT SHOW with JAY LENO, ARREST AND TRIAL and THE AMANDA SHOW. He's appearing in Dr. Dolittle II, has done several plays and 4 commercials in this time as well. Adam credits his quick success to being a genuinely nice guy as well as having a great outlook on the "Hollywood Game" and a never quit, never stop learning attitude. |
