As a child I vowed to have a dog just like the one I grew up with...his name was RUFF. As an adult,
I learned the Ruff we'd had on the farm had to have been an English Shepherd. I bought TUFF from Teri Knox's line and
my boys took to him like glue! He was killed in our farm drive by a local farmer. He was only 5 months old.
As a result of this, I got RUFF (again from Teri) and MOLLY from Nancy McVaugh. They were a pair! Our boys loved
teaching them tricks and playing with them. Molly and Ruff had two litters of pups together. Miss MOLLY at the
age of three was attacked by a dog I had rescued and fatally bitten. Another tragity and another heart break.
But to top it all, RUFF, who was the best dog I ever had, was put to rest after a HBC while we were out
of town on a familt vacation. Aug 19, 2008 I loved all my dogs. They are all special to us.
RUFF was the shining star. Strangers loved him! He had so many good traits...I would be lucky to ever have a dog
like him again!
He was my "teddy-bear". He was four and a half.

MISS MOLLY (above) was a special girl. We miss her dearly. She was a pup from Nancy
McVaugh's Arkwright Hill CHARLIE and AMBER. We a proud to say Molly had two litters of nice pups. OLIVER, our
newest addition to the family, is a grandson to Molly and Ruff.
