Memorial

This page is Atalanta's Armoury for literary and alliterary reasons. If you don't know who she was, there is a "biography" available. It's a neat place to visit.

Philadelphia Conventions To Do
Aromatherapy Friendly Links

Philadelphia
In my opinion, Philadelphia is an interesting town. If you're thinking of visiting, check out The Philadelphia Inquirer (which includes a good comics selection) and Action News (which includes a five-day forecast) to get a feel for the area. And to get around by public transit (parking in the city is a bear!), SEPTA handles the trains, buses, and subway-surface lines.

Conventions
But one needs to travel as well. A good excuse for this is going to Science Fiction Conventions. These are all over the world, practically all the time! I tend toward the East Coast conventions which include: Arisia, Balticon, Boskone, Darkover, Dragon*Con (where I'll be a guest), Farpoint, Lunacon, Phrolicon, and my favorite PHILCON. New to the list is Albacon. Those are pretty much the same place and same time each year. WorldCon, Labor Day weekend, will be San Antonio (1997), and Baltimore (1998) (Philadelphia is bidding for 2001). CostumeCon also varies, but in date as well as location. Look for it in St. Louis (1998), and Philadelphia (1999).

To Do
Aside from cons are other things to bide the time. You can learn Karate (I belong to the ISKF). Costuming is also interesting, the Lunatic Phrynge is the Philadelphia chapter of the International Guild of Costumers. And one can't forget "brain candy". I like Xena and Murder Mysteries.

Aromatherapy
I am also into Aromatherapy. If you would like a Price List or more information just let me know. And should you have any questions, or would be interested in custom blends, just drop me a line!

One cannot forget one's friends, and those who helped me to develp this page: David Honigsberg, Alicia Hard and Dave Brown. But please, visit my other friends' sites: Bob Walters, Tess Kissinger, Charley Parker, Patrick Burns, and keep checking back for more (if I missed you, it's not deliberate, send me your address!)
