Dear Diary,

I was having an incredible dream.  I was dreaming that AJ was holding me in his arms and kissing me on the back of by neck.  It felt wonderful so I snuggled back into the warmth of the bed and left it continue.  One of his hands slipped to my belly and pulled me closer to my dream AJ.  I moaned in pleasure as I turned my head and he finally kissed me.

Suddenly, there was a loud noise that woke me from my dream.  I didn’t even bother to open my eyes.  I didn’t want to be disappointed that the dream wasn’t real.  Everyone says that his or her dreams feel real, but this one was incredible.  I can almost smell his scent on the pillow and it even feels warm as if he were lying there.  I gathered ‘his’ pillow closer, sighed and tried to escape back to the dream.

I probably would have succeeded but I heard a low chuckle as I nuzzled into the pillow more.  My eyes flew open, meeting his smiling down at me.

“It wasn’t a dream?” I asked somewhat rhetorically but happily.

“No, darlin’, it wasn’t a dream,” he said as he lightly caressed my check with his fingers.  “Are you hungry?  Room service just stopped by and delivered breakfast.  I guess they feel guilty for giving up our room.”

I sat up in bed as AJ moved the cart full of breakfast goodies closer to the bed.  He sat down next to me and handed me a plate.  Soon, we were both helping ourselves to eggs, bacon, pancakes, and hash browns.  I left all the grits for AJ, much to his amusement.  Of course, as hard as I tried I did have a bit of a problem focusing on eating when AJ was sitting so close, and not wearing a shirt.  This was really the first time that I had seen him without one on.  I had to say that he kept himself in far better shape than I had ever guessed.  I was sure that he operated under the philosophy of ‘Once a SeAL, Always a SeAL.’  I had seen how he did that as the CO at JAG, the staff had become his team and he relied on them as such.  We all were able to sense that and most of us felt the same.

“Like what you see?” he asked, interrupting my thoughts.

I met his eyes and instead of being embarrassed, I was very honest, “Yes, I do.”  I think that I surprised him a bit since he seemed to turn slightly pink.  I was sure that I was right when he suddenly changed the subject.

“So, Sarah.  Where would you like to go shopping today?”

“Shopping?”

“Well, as much as I like you in my t-shirt, I don’t think that is appropriate couture to Carnegie Hall,” he said as he fingered the sleeve of the shirt I was wearing.

“Carnegie Hall?”

“Sarah, are you going to question everything today?” he smiled at me.

“Today?” I couldn’t resist as I smiled back at him.  “No, not at all,” I smiled back at him.  “Let me hop in the shower and I’ll be right out.”  I jumped out of bed but on the way past him, I couldn’t resist dropping a kiss on his forehead.  “Sorry.  That’s something that I’ve always wanted to do.”

“Are you going to do that a lot, Sarah?”

“Yes,” I smiled.

“Good,” he said as he caught my hand and kissed my palm before letting me go.
