The Reunion Part 9 of 14

Disclaimers in part 1

Startled to find themselves in each other arms they jumped apart both trying to explain and apologize. The person at the door knocked again. To save herself from embarrassment, she went and answered the door. Unfortunately, this just made her more embarrassed. Kathy and Syd were standing there, noticing her disheveled hair and T-shirt. Looking into the room Syd could see AJ still lying in the bed. Mac turned to see what Syd thought was so funny and saw AJ smiling at her. She blushed even more. Finally to relieve the tension, Kathy said "So what kept you guys from the getting to the reacquainted games?" she paused for a moment realizing what she said, "My God, that was naive." Everyone burst out laughing; even Mac had to laugh.

"Well it’s eleven o’clock, how about we all go out to lunch and then Kathy wants to hit the stores?" suggested Syd.

AJ got up and walked up behind Mac before he spoke up, "Sounds good, we’ll meet you at noon in the lobby after we get showered."

"Ok, you two. See you then," said Syd with an amused smile.

Mac shut the door then turned on AJ, "What are you doing, AJ?!"

"I thought you wanted them to think we were dating," he said with a smile. "So do you want to take the first shower?" Shocked Mac just stared at him and then turned and headed for the shower. His smile got wider when he realized that she hadn’t taken any other clothes in with her. ‘I wonder how she is going to handle that!’ he thought. He thought it was funny until she walked out, without shame, wearing nothing more than a towel wrapped around her body and one wrapped as a turban.

She completely ignored him as she began to rummage through her suitcase for clothes. He, unfortunately, was rather flustered and also walked into the bathroom without extra clothes. She smiled, knowing that she took the only large towels. Not able to resist herself, she quickly got dressed and then bravely opened the bathroom door, knowing that the opaque shower curtain would cover him, not that she would peek. "AJ?"

"Sarah! What are you doing?"

She smiled at the total shock in his voice. "I’m going to go ahead downstairs and met Kathy and Syd."

"Ok," he said with difficulty. She smiled as she walked out of the bathroom, with his clothes and all of the towels, except for one tiny washcloth.

"See you downstairs." As he heard the door shut he peeked around the curtain and then proceeded to turn off the hot water. This was definitely a morning for a cold shower. When he got out of the shower and went to reach for the towels all his hand found was the empty towel rack. He flung back the shower curtain, to find that all the towels were missing, as well as his clothes.

"Sarah!" he bellowed. He heard her laughter then he heard the outer door shut. Unable to stop himself, he started to laugh. He walked out into the room, peeking around the corner to make sure she wasn’t there. He saw the stack of towels and grabbed one. He reached into his suitcase and pulled out some jeans, boxers and a T-shirt.
