I am a self-taught artist and have learned through the years by studying the works of great artists in museums and books. My favorite subjects are living creatures because I think the eyes speak to you. I paint in watercolor, oil and acrylic, using more acrylic now for the faster drying benefits. I use hardboard panels primed with gesso. This gives me the option of cutting the panels to fit any size or shape frame.
