I like to recycle old doors and turn them into useable art. Sometimes I use new doors, but generally prefer to recycle older doors with a little character. You can use them as functioning interior doors, or you can attach them to your wall as finished pieces of art---already framed!! Knob holes can be covered over very creatively if used as a wall hanging as shown in the section for recycled doors. I guarantee that my doors are in usable condition. All door panels have been stripped to the bone and reprimed before being muraled. As with my canvas paintings, I use acrylic paints. My doors are beautifully detailed and I love to use rich colors. All painted door panels are double coated with a matte varnish to remove as much glare as possible. The frames are creatively finished using different techniques to complement each painting very nicely and adding to the overall quality of the piece.

I'm happy to take on commissions if you have a special scene that you want reproduced from a photo. If you have an existing door you want painted, send it to me and I'll return it with your own original mural on it.
