My door designs are coated with a matte varnish to cut down on glare. The "liner" at the edges of this painting is done in a warm gold leaf paint . The outer frame has an embossed texture for extra character and is finished with a gloss varnish. The original hinges have been used to decorate the top edge. The door knob hole has been creatively hidden with Victorian gingerbread that is painted in the official GGBridge red color.
