| For my debut “Time's Up—Your Move” music CD of songs I wrote and then performed and produced in a studio, I wanted to create an eye-catching cover. I also wanted to create a CD that had a theme: every song had something to do with time or clocks. | I created the chess pieces in Adobe Illustrator, using the 3D modeling feature. For the floating chess board, water and sky, I used Bryce, borrowing from an idea I used on an illustration (see next page, More Illustrations). On the back cover of the CD (above), in the inset box, I followed David Ogily's advertising advice to promise a benefit to the customer.
