OPEN AIR ART AFFAIR ARTISTS RULES

BASIC RULES
 
Artists must print an application, fill it out completely, make a check payable to Deborah Jalbert and mail it to the address on the application.  Any application that is incomplete, has a check made out to the wrong party, or is delivered to any address other than the one given will NOT BE PROCESSED.
 
New participants must PAY WITH A POSTAL MONEY ORDER, OR CASHIERS CHECK.
 
Each artist is responsible for their own booth, canopy and display.
 
Booth space is limited to one artist, additional artists sharing a booth are required to pay an additional $50.00.
 
All works of art must be original or a facsimile of original art, no kits or buy & sell art
 
No electricity will be available.  Bring your own lights if you want and a battery to run them.
 
An accepted application is a commitment to exibit.  SORRY,  NO REFUNDS
 
Each Artist is responsible for collection of Florida State sales tax of 7.5%.  Forms are provided in your participants package.  Your participation fee includes the 7.5% tax we are required to charge for each booth "sold".  We are required to report all participants names to the Dept. of Revenue.
 
BOOTH SET UP STARTS AT 8:00 AM.  AND MUST BE COMPLETED BY 9:30 AM.  CARS MUST BE MOVED OUT AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE, NO LATER THAN 9:30 AM.
 
Your booth must remain open and manned during show hours.
 
The Art Affair will not be held responsible for the weather-the event will be held rain or shine.  ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS
 
There are a limited number of 10 x10 tent spaces,  they are assigned on the basis of your previous support of our events, and in order of reciept of completed application and payment.
 
Booths and display items must stay within the confines of your designated space.
 
All rules of the Open Air Art Affair will be enforced.  Please acknowledge your understanding, and acceptance of these rules by signing the general release on the application. 
 
IF YOU ARE A VISUAL ARTIST YOU MAY COMPETE IN OUR ANNUAL CONTEST FOR THE BEST DEPICTION OF SCHOONER WHARF BAR.  YOU MUST REGISTER WITH DEBORAH DAY OF EVENT AND PLACE YOUR PIECE AT THE OUTSIDERS COMMAND POST ON AN STAND.  THE PRIZE AWARDED BY SCHOONER WHARF IS $200.00 AND THE PEOPLES CHOICE AWARD IS $100.00 AND CHOOSEN BY THE ATTENDEES.  ONE VOTE PER PERSON PLEASE.
