As mentioned on my home page, this piece is about the media, neagtivity in the media and presents what I see every morning at my door step. One side of the book pages are really what's dark in the media. I used a lot of black and white, gray and muted tones. On the reverse side I attempted to find more positive words and phrases from the media. This was not easy! Many phrases had to be pieced together using words from less newsy pages - from life and style pages, sports pages, and the arts.

It opens to this skewed spiral as a kind of "spinning out of control" image. To open it and work through the pages is really awkward - as intended.
It's not supposed to be easy, since nothing about today's news is.

BONE NEST with handmade book 6" x 4" x 5"	These bones once smothered beneath the layers of fat, flesh, muscle encased and aching to separate and free to flee, to rattle click to dry, harden, bleach warming in the sun having been picked clean by passers by then tossed, kicked left to lie upon the sand between the rocks washed clean by salty waves.
