The Light

While
the light
reaches you
the life
continues
forward
Next happening
takes place
while the light
from the last
happening
is
about
to
reach you

Duodji symbol

All Creation

All creation
has divinity in it
which has
to harmonize with the Great Divinity - (pause) -
to get
in balance....
to be able
to create

Duodji symbol

Nothing

There is nothing
I have to have
nothing I have
to do
and nothing
I have to be
except
what I am
here and now

Duodji symbol

We Are

Yes
we are
indigenous
we come from
earth lodges
and smoky tents
and we
are dirty, stupid
and ignorant
because we sleep
on branches of birch
and listen to Mother
Earth's heart
there
where we lay
by the fire
dancing
talking
whispering stories
as we hear the
wind sweep by
the crown
of the lavvu the tent
the tipi
and the elders'
stories
as the fairies
dance
in the fire
the elders
the wind, water near by
running
talking its own tales
as the stars
peek in to your bed
of birch branches
and fresh green leaves
we are called
dirty stupid and
ignorant
we hear our
Mother Earth's heart
beating
as we sleep
by her
in our hearts

Duodji symbol

If You Want

If you want
to be happy
be happy
if you want
to be wise
be wise
If you want
to be love
be love
You are who
you are
Anyway
You are
my beloved

Duodji symbol

You Imagine

You
imagine
that your world
is the only
inhabited planet
in the Universe
You imagine
that your land
is the best
nation on the Earth
You imagine that
your county
is the best
county in the country
and you imagine that
your family
is the best family in the county area
And then you think
that you are the very best
of your family

Duodji symbol

The Root

The human consciousness
about insufficiency
is the root
of all worry
all pressure
all competition
all jealousy
all anger
all conflict
and at the very end
all killings
on Earth

Duodji symbol

Create

What
you think
you create
what you create
you become
what you become
you express
what you express
you experience
what you experience
you are
You are what you think

Duodji symbol

Acknowledge

Acknowledge
your own
inner
fundamental
loneliness
and don't
give the youth
bad advice
like to live
while they can
Life is always here
for to be lived
you don't
change the world
just yourself
and your own
way of thinking
we can't look forward
for tomorrow
but enjoy ourselves
today
In the blue polarian
winterlight
the trees become
shadows
of your inner
self
and the stars
as clear
pathways

The Woman Who Always Is

She is from the future
And has been here
From the world's first breath
And comes near when we
Call on her
She is in the present
Sits in a café away from our table
Stands behind us in line at the store
Fastens the seatbelt ahead of us on the plane
She is in the future
And travels back in time
To find us now

Sami goddess - symbol from drum

New Age shaman

He drives a fat car
shiny with stars glued on the side
He bought the wolves claws
from a box at a Santa Fe flea market
for 30 pieces of gold and a diamond sieidi
He sells his religion
whispering softly in ear about power
to women with long purple nails
and bank accounts
big enough to fill up
his red Mercedes
