Graydon Burow of Robbinsdale, MN, died on January 27, 2004 at the age of 65. A memorial service was held on Friday, January 30, 2004, at the Hanson Funeral Home in Kenyon. Burial was at the Kenyon Cemetery. 

Graydon was born to Ernest and Hazel Burow on April 4, 1938 in Faribault MN. They, lived in the Moland area where Graydon attended District 51 schools before his family moved to Kenyon MN in 1950. He graduated with the Class of 1956 from Kenyon H.S. On April 30, 1960, he married Judy Anderson in Red Wing MN.  They were later divorced.  Mr. Burow worked at Gandy in Owatonna, then at Seven-Up in Rochester MN until moving to Red Wing in 1964, where he was employed by Meyer Industries until 1981. He later sold real estate. 

Graydon was an accomplished accordionist for much of his life. He also played piano and vibraphone. He was Bandleader of a once popular band that he organized in 1956 as "Brother Burr And The Burros" also known as "The Graydon Burow Orchestra". Graydon and his band played frequently at the most popular dance halls in the surrounding area. Graydon created many musical arrangements and several original compositions. Dozens of recordings were released during the years that the band was together. Two CDs were created from these recordings in recent years.

In his leisure time, Graydon enjoyed playing golf and fishing.

Survivors include four sons, Loren (Robin) of Hastings MN, Steve (Stephanie) of Apple Valley MN, Todd (Rochelle Darveaux) of Red Wing MN, Tony of Hager City WI, a daughter, Mona (Russ) Hauer) of Mankato MN, a brother, Buck (Joyce) of Red Wing MN. He was preceded by his parents, Ernest W. Burow (1907-1995) and Hazel O. Burow (1914-1993) who were married on June 6, 1935.

Graydon will always be fondly remembered by those who had the privilege of playing in his band and by those who enjoyed the music that he created.
