West High School
AristocracyThe West High School
Aristocracy is one of the finest high school choral groups in the
South Bay. Directed by Mrs.
Kathleen Jensen and comprised of 26 choral singers, Aristocracy entertains audiences through
musical excellence and a rich blend of musical styles. Aristocracy's
impressive performance repertoire includes MusicFest Orlando, All American
Music, the Los Angeles Master Chorale High School Choral
Festival, and an astounding five performances in
the world-renown Carnegie Hall in New York City, New York.
In 2009, Aristocracy sang under the direction of renowned
conductor Jonathan Griffith at New York's Lincoln Center.
The award-winning
choir seeks to develop strong musical skills while encouraging peer
interaction and individual improvement. Entrance to the choir
is done on an audition-only basis. All members are taught the
fundamental techniques of choral singing and exposed to a wide
variety of music. Concerts and other performances are held
periodically throughout the year.

Booking
AristocracyIf you would like to
book Aristocracy to sing at your private or public event, send an
email to aristocracy@earthlink.net or call 533-4299 x 7881 at least
three weeks in advance. Please note that the group is available only
in the early winter (November-December) and spring / early summer
(March-June). Also, due to rising transportation costs, Aristocracy
usually cannot perform outside of the South Bay area. The choir is
available for lunch and evening performances, depending on the
schedule of the director and members.
