West High School Aristocracy

The West High School Aristocracy is one of the finest high school choral groups in the South Bay.  Directed by Mrs. Kathleen Jensen and comprised of 26 choral singers, Aristocracy entertains audiences through musical excellence and a rich blend of musical styles.  Aristocracy's impressive performance repertoire includes MusicFest Orlando, All American Music, the Los Angeles Master Chorale High School Choral Festival, and an astounding five performances in the world-renown Carnegie Hall in New York City, New York.  In 2009, Aristocracy sang under the direction of renowned conductor Jonathan Griffith at New York's Lincoln Center.

The award-winning choir seeks to develop strong musical skills while encouraging peer interaction and individual improvement.  Entrance to the choir is done on an audition-only basis.  All members are taught the fundamental techniques of choral singing and exposed to a wide variety of music.  Concerts and other performances are held periodically throughout the year.
