OtaMike?????
What does "OtaMike" mean? How did you come up with such a name anyway? I'm sure you're asking yourself these questions (otherwise you wouldn't be on this page).
OtaMike is pronounced like "oh-ta-mike". It is a combination of my name, Mike, and otaku, a Japanese word which is the name that hardcore anime fans have given themselves (please refer to my Anime Primer before you laugh too much).
Actually, the name "OtaMike" is a parody of a character in the classic video, Otaku no Video, who becomes "OtaKing", which basically is King of Otaku (i.e. the biggest fan in the world). Well, I'll never be that fargone, but I am still a really big fan, so I made myself OtaMike.
If you're lazy, you can write it "Otamike" or even "otamike", which I often do.
