This is Faith. She is our Derby/Murphy daughter. She was bred by Penny Whitaker and Renee' Franklin. Faith is a real joy, we are so thankful to her breeders for entrusting us with such a lovely bitch.
I fell in love with this red beauty the first time I saw her. There was a special connection between us She also has a special relationship with my son. They are only one month apart. She's his big sister!
We did not acquire Faith until she was about 8 months old. But just weeks after her arrival here in Pennsylvania she took Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite from the 6-9 month puppy class. Faith is shown below going Best of Winners and Best of Opposite sex under Joan Goldstein(broken major by one dog). Then she is shown going Best of Breed over Specials competition under Betsey Laham. That was a wonderful day! She showed like a dream.
Faith sat out much of 1999-2000 due to an injury. She got to enjoy that time just being our companion. She also needed time to put some of her coat back on. She likes to take her clothes off after she's been in season.
Faith went to Texas to finish her championship under the capable hands of Penny Whitaker. While in Texas Faith picked up a 4 point major at the Greater Houston Afghan Hound Specialty by going Winners Bitch. We are so thankful to both Renee and Penny for allowing Faith to stay at Camp Vision. They did a wonderful job with her this past season. Faith was bred to Ch. Mahali Kendall Jackson (BIS, SBIS Genesis-Ambelike Silver Charm x Ch. Mahali With A Trace of Lace). You can see him by going to the puppy page. Puppies were born on January 14, 2003. We are excited about this litter and invite inquiries from loving, permanant homes. .
