Ana has been writing and telling humorous stories since the age
of six, when she was first published in Archie and Veronica comic books. (Just kidding.) She credits her afinity for story-telling
to her grandmothers and mother, at whose knees she spent much of her early childhood, listening to the chístes and historias of an enchanting
New Mexico long since past.
Her grandmothers have passed on, but
their stories live on through the minds and hearts of their offspring. Ana's hope is to bring wonderful stories of love and
passion to the pages of books that will live on forever.

Ana is a native New Mexican who traces her ancestry to the early Spanish settlers and the indigenous Pueblo
peoples of the area surrounding Mountainair, approximately 60 miles southeast of Albuquerque.
She loves to cook, as her friends can attest, and the holidays found her preparing her traditional green
chile stew, posole and tamales (she still has leftovers in the freezer...stop on by!)
She is married with three children and now lives in the beautiful rolling hills of North Georgia, where you can
find her hard at work on her latest book. In her free time she enjoys watching sports, tending her garden, or reading a spicy
hot romance with Chai tea and chocolate on her front porch, or cuddled up in front of the fireplace.
About this blog
I decided to start this blog to give friends and family a place to keep up with what is going on with my writing and
my life. I also wanted a place to journal and dialogue with others about writing, motherhood, and life.
A beautiful sunset picture from our hotel room at the Hilton Cavalieri in Rome, Italy.
