| Earthquake in Indonesia: Plea For Assistance |

Dear AOMAA/IBU4Aceh Supporters and Donors, IBU4Aceh has sent Dr. Ridwan Jack Gustiana, the Founder, Country Coordinator, and Destrian "Baut" Setiawan, Prgram Manager, to the earthquake site. The response team is building with the whole Board of Directors in Jakarta mobilized, including the psychologist and logistician from Rakata Adventure. Volunteer doctors (9) are standing by for orders in Bandung. The team has $5000 from HELP Germany, and a pledge amount unspecified as of yet from Benefiz, Germany. Please consider joining the grassroots effort to respond effectively by
direct aid as we did in the tsunami emergency. All money sent to AOMAA will be
sent directly to the IBU Foundation bank account. It will be picked up in
Jakarta to pay for food, logistics, operations costs, transport for the
volunteer team and medical supplies for the IBU Team heading to Yogyakarta
today.
Anyone wishing a more formal concept letter will have one in a few hours when Dr. Jack is able to get it done. He is working on the overall budget. Remember, we saw 24,500 patient visits in 2005 for $142,474. Meubolah, Aceh, operations are going strong with a team of 23 funded with $170,000. We can do a lot with a little, and your effort will help young doctors,
psychologists and nurses learn to do humanitarian work now in rapid response to
the earthquake.
