In Memory of Sheikh Ishaq Jud, my beloved partner - past, present and forever!
I currently live in Eugene, Oregon with my three cats Mckenzie, Akbar and Sita. We live in a little house two blocks from
the Willamette River, with a park across the street where osprey nest each year. The beauty of Eugene and of Oregon have
inspired me to create through photography, art and music.
Up until last July 28th, I shared the house with my beloved partner Ishaq, who you will see in some of the art on these
pages. He passed away, laughing and playing in the river, from a massive heart attack/blood clot. He literally "died
laughing" - vary appropriate for a man whose name meant "Divine Laughter".
I have set up a website for Ishaq, that also has more of my photographys of him. It can be found at

I am also a musician, singer/songwriter, and oCertified Leader of the Dances of Universal Peace. Currently I am the lead
vocalist with the Middle Eastern band, Americanistan.
In 1991 I lost the vision in my right eye, leaving me to rely on my almost legally blind left eye for seeing. I have
come to see the world in a different way with impaired vision, and these pictures are a way of taking the "blur"
and turning it into art.
I have always been wary of the word "dis-abled" I feel that by creating art by using the "unique"
way I see images, I can overcome the limitations of my sight and bring a different sort of perspective to the pieces that
I create.
