Specialty Diver

Once you become a (Junior) Open Water Diver your can expand your interests by taking as many Specialty classes as you like.

• Underwater Hunter
• Underwater Naturalist
• Underwater Navigator

• Underwater Communication

Course Prerequisites:

• Be certified as a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organization.
• The age requirements depends on a specialty.

Training Materials:

• PADI Adventures in Diving Manual or Multimedia

Before Class Homework:

• Read chapters in Adventures in Diving Manual which are dedicated to your chosen specialty.
• Finish all knowledge reviews for your chosen specialty.
