The Potager is a blend of culinary herbs and ornamentals. This planting has all season interest, a variety of textures, as well as fresh herbs for the kitchen.

 

 


 

ENCLOSED CITY GARDEN
Mt. Baker, Seattle, WA


Small patio garden where rosemary, basil, and strawberries live quite well among roses, dahlias and annuals.

 


 

CUTTING GARDEN
Rainier Valley, Seattle, Washington

No one would ever guess this photo was taken in May, but in June the border comes alive with antique roses and continues through fall, providing fresh cut flowers all season.

Long-blooming tulips, daffodils and blue muscari bring early sunshine to a northwest spring.
