3) Develop a law code for an ancient society. Explain why you chose the laws and how you would enforce them. |

4) Read a book on one of the civilizations and do a book chat about it telling me what you learned. |
5) Develop a what if scenario of at least one page where you explore what would have happened if a major event were changed in the history of one of the cultures from the unit |
6) Create an advertisement on a poster board to try to get people to move from another civilization to yours |

7) Create a model of one of the civilizations. Make sure to label it with the correct features |

Additional notes of projects:
1) Write from the perspective
of someone who lived during the time period.
Include both news stories and other areas of interest. Make sure to only cover one period of
history.
