A two-day cruise aboard Namequoit

Outrage 22 Cuddy

This trip log details the second annual fall cruise from our home port of Santa Cruz across the bay to Monterey. Our boat is a 1989 Boston Whaler Outrage 22 Cuddy, powered by a 200 horsepower Mercury Outboard main engine, with a 15 horsepower Mercury outboard auxilliary engine. The boat is rigged primarily for fishing, with the traditional Boston Whaler center console, but equipped with a small forward cuddy cabin to make it an ideal pocket cruiser as well.

I'm Andy Gere, the skipper, and my wife Nancy is my crew. We have a couple of young swabs who join us aboard for coastal day trips, but are still a bit young for the open water trips. I invite you to browse the pages of this log and get a feel for why we love boating on Monterey Bay.

Follow the links on the lefthand side of the page to navigate the trip log and see photos from the cruise.
