Anaheim or Orlando?
The Bi-Coastal Question of Disney

A photo quiz of Disney parks Coast-to-Coast, test your Knowledge of the Disney parks

Anaheim to Orlando is a photo comparison of many of the attractions of Disneyland (Anaheim) and Magic Kingdom (Orlando). Have you ever wished that you could go to Disneyland (in Anaheim, Ca.) or Walt Disney World (in Orlando, Fl.) and just hop on the Skyway, ride through the Matterhorn and compare attractions? Well, you don't have to do that (you can't, the Skyway is no more). At Anaheim to Orlando, A Bi-Coastal Comparison of Disney there are photos of similar attractions in both Disneyland and Walt Disney World presented for your enjoyment, so sit back, relax and visit your favorite attractions from Anaheim to Orlando.

The main comparisons are of attractions at Walt Disney World that are similar to the attractions at Disneyland. The reference park is Disneyland (because I live close to Disneyland). In many cases the attraction found in Disneyland is in the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, but in some cases, the attraction may be in the Disney/MGM studios or even EPCOT.

There is a second use for the photos in this site. What if you get up one morning and decide to go to a Disney park, like so many of us do? So you head out, by car, bus, plane train, whatever. You get there at 7:30 AM for an 8:00 AM opening. You wander around the park, viewing attractions, riding rides, but then it suddenly hits you. The fear that you just don't know where you are. Sure, you know you are in a Disney park, but are you in Anaheim, or Orlando? Who knows? Many of the attractions are quite similar. You go to Frontierland and ride a river boat, but you still don't know where you are, you visit a Haunted Mansion, but you still don't know where you are.

If you had visited the Anaheim to Orlando site and looked at the river boats, you can tell at an instant, without even knowing the name of the boat, in which park you are. If you visit The Haunted Mansion, you can tell just by looking where you are. If you go to the hub there are a couple of subtle telltale clues, such as where is Goofy? What does the rabbit look like?

If you review the information here, you will never be lost in a Disney park again. You will always know what coast you are on. Maybe you may not actually where you are in the park (but who cares, after all, you are in a Disney park?)

These pages are meant to be a source of enjoyment, not necessarily for trip planning, except that the photos may entice you to want to see something during your visit.
