• The Crow
• This movie stars Brandon Lee as a murder victim who comes back from the grave in order to avenge his and his fiancee's death. This movie has colors that are so washed out the movie looks as though it were shot in black and white and then colors were added to peoples' skins. The rainy, dark mood as well as the decaying city just cry "World of Darkness!" See it for yourself and just imagine supernaturals running around and you have a great example of the WoD.
• Seven
• Stars Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman and is about two detectives trying to solve murders related to the seven deadly sins. The whole look of this film screams "World of Darkness!" and it goes a step further; near the end (no, I won't give the ending away) we are taken out into the middle of nowhere. The only things present are dirt roads, dry grass, and power lines. It's the only time in the whole movie where everything looks alive. The whole thing just has more color and is more vibrant and I couldn't help but think about the similarities to the WoD. It also rains all the time.
• Dark City
• Stars Rufus Sewell, Kiefer Sutherland, and Jennifer Connelly. This movie has an excellent dark mood and the first half shows some excellent coincidental Mage-like effects. It's hard to explain what this movie's about without giving away the plot, but the bad guys have many similarities with the NWO.

1. Do something and roll the dice.
2. Spend Quintessence if you're a Mage... and if you want to, otherwise skip this step.
3. Spend Willpower if you want/need to.

Of course, Vampire Revised Ed. does a 180 and has you spending Willpower and then rolling.... Considering how difficult it is now to botch, however, I can see why they did that.

• Essentially, what happens is that if you (the vampire) take 8 aggravated wounds, you die. You could have 50 Blood Points left, but you're still dead.
• If the kind Brujah just pummeled you into the ground and Torpored you, you've just taken 7 Health Levels, plus lost all your Blood. At this point, if you take just one aggravated wound, you die even though you'd not taken any beforehand.
