American Color Woodcuts and Arts and Crafts Movement
The Arts and Crafts Movement took place in both the United States and Europe in the early part of the 20th century.  It is characterized by attention to hand workmanship - as opposed to the industrialization occurring throughout the world at that time.  Hand bookbinding, hand cutting of woodblock prints, needlework as well as other crafts became popular during this period.
