Alts Alert on Suramar! Outdoor Epic drop!
Since switching back to Suramar, I have been busy leveling
my Alts. The one that got the most attention was Kylehuai the Pally who was at level 32 when I switched to Archimonde.
Since Tempus is a blacksmith, I can easily make the armor/weapon upgrade for Kylehuai. Duskwood is a major grinding
zone for Pally with so many undead in there, plus Kylehuai has skinning which I can level after killing the Worgen mobs.
Kylehuai is also my main enchanter and I can level that by Disenchanting (DE) the worthless green quest items plus at the
same time I send all the skins to my Dwarf Hunter Jerrihu who is a Leatherworker (LW) to make greens for Kylehuai. I
then resell the dust at the Auction House to generate more gold. The shards I usually end up keeping in the bank since
the better enchantments required them. I hit level 35 fairly quickly with Kylehuai and decided to switch to Juliacah
(Level 32 Frost Mage) who is my main Alchemist. I checked Alakazam and found out that the Artisan Alchemist Trainer
is in Feathermoon Stronghold in Feralas which is reachable from Desolace. I shipped Juliacah over the Darkshore and
head down to Ashenvale and through the Charred Vale in Stonetalon Mountain
to Desolace. Along the way I gather as much herbs as possible to sell at the Auction House since I know leveling any
crafting skill required lots of gold.
At this point I had probably around 150 golds scattered among all my Alts,
but I know I need more since I am planning to level at least 3-4 of the Alts.
I started looking into the bank holdings for all the Alts and decided that
I need to start selling off the surplus like cloth drops, herbs and any low level greens that are not usable. Fortunately
among all the Alts, I have like 3 herbalists, 3 miners and 2 skinners. So all I had to do was run around with the Alts
and start gathering everything in sight while I complete their quests. I also send Tempus (my main) to clean up the
quests in the Plaguelands to free up some quest slots and to get some greens for my alts. It worked out better than
I hope when all of a sudden the Epic Shadowblade dropped. Yippee!!!

Game Over Glacial Tide!
Finally a chance to update this blog, it has been 4 months since I last had a time to add anything.
Around mid April, I got this email from Steve that our horde guild Glacial Tide is having internal
problem. I was alarmed and jumped to the GT guild website and took a look at the forum. The problem was apparently lack of attendance for the new instances in Outland and the main leadership was getting
tired of trying to figure new strategy and have no one show up for the Raid.
The impact on my main Landru was minimum since I mostly do PUG and solo quest, but very devastating
to Steve and his kids since they needed help to run through instances and for questing. Steve queried Greg and I and
decided to restart on Stormrage where Greg's mains are located. I have a main there named Aaronsen (Tauren Hunter Level 22) which I have not used since playing on Suramar. Unfortunately that would have meant I
have to start from scratch again since I didn't have much resource (esp. gold) on that server. It was not a very good
choice since I was pretty close to Level 40 for Landru and have saved up considerable resources on Archimonde, especially
since I have built up Alts to handle all the secondary functions like I had on Suramar. Playing on another PVE
server didn't appeal to me since I am already playing on Suramar, I might as well be playing on Suramar.
So, despite the fact that I wanted to play with Steve and his kids plus Greg and his, I decided
to put Archimonde on hold and head back to Suramar. My immediate thought was that I have been neglecting my Alliances
characters since playing Hordes and might as well try to advance my alts to level 35 so that they can max out at 300 for their
skills. My son Aaron have started to experiment with Draenei on Gul'dan but again I have no resource on there.
So I have him rerolled one of the low level alts into a Draenei Shaman and sent him 5gp and some silk packs for him.
