The following is quoted from Mansfield Genealogy by Daland and Mansfield, 1980, p 13:
7. DANIEL3 MANSFIELD (Andrew2, Robert1) was born in Lynn, Mass. 9 June 1669. He married (1) HANNAH JOHNSON, daughter of Samuel and Mary (Collins) Johnson, who was born in 1671 and died 6 September 1714, aged 45 years. He married (2) on 12 May 1715, MRS. MARGARET (JARVIS) BURRILL, of Lynn, widow of Samuel Burrill, who died 23 May 1713. Margaret (Jarvis)(Burrill) Mansfield was from Boston. She was married to Samuel Burrill on 17 Sept. 1697, by Mr. Cotton Mather. She had seven children by her first husband, viz: Mary, Lois, Lydia, Anna, Sarah, Abigail and Ruth.
Daniel became owner of the homestead and lands of his father Andrew by settling with the other heirs. He was a man of prominence and was a Deacon of the 1st Church and was called Husbandman. He died 11 June 1728, aged 59 years. His gravestone and that of his first wife are in the Western Burying Ground, Lynn.
In his will, #17589, made 6 June 1728, and proved 29 July 1728, he gives his wife Margaret his negro woman, Phyllis. At the date of his will, his son Samuel and his daughter Bethiah Poole were deceased, and Bethiah Poole's daughter was under age. Sons Daniel and Andrew were to have the residue of his estate and be executors.

Hannah, b. 14 Oct. 1698, m. EBENEZER PEARSON, (Int. pub. 6 Sept. 1718).
