THE FAKE WEAVE

The "fake weave" is a new bracelet pattern of my own design. Although, like in all other bracelets, the threads all travel in the same direction, by sometimes switching the warp for the weft, I create the illusion that the threads are actually crossing one another.

Here was my first attempt, using only four colors.

A six-color version, with a funky black background.

Variations on a theme. These two bracelets are both identical to the one above, except that instead of six different colors, they feature three colors repeated twice. It makes the design look completely different.

And here is another variation, with only two different-colored sets of bands, and a "looser" weave between them.

And the same thing again, this time in more muted colors.
