The Renegade Look

The Renegade look was added on to a standard, but well-optioned, YJ Wranger.

One major difference from a standard YJ Wranger was the fog lights integrated into the leading fender. A bracket holds the light in place.

Frequently, the factory fog light grills that came on Wrangler Renegades fall off. This is extremely annoying, as Jeep wants you to mortgage your house for a replacement! The cost is really $20+ for just the grill from your friendly Jeep dealer. The dealer near me quoted $165 (in 1995) for a new set of fog lights, but the grills were extra. For that price, you can engineer your own replacements if you look for a light that will fit.

I replaced my factory fog lights (which were cracked) with Hella 450 fog lights. They fit perfectly in the fenders and produce a nice light. These were the only lights I could find that filled the factory fog ports, and look really good.
