In 1992 Damon Deemer realized the band had to take a more commercial direction, commercial meaning: Radio playable. So he realized at least 75% of this album had to be that way. In May the album was reviewed by the Rock-n-Roll Reporter and Aneurysm, which received local radio play, was described as an "intricate, upbeat showcase which seems to follow out into the format of The Walls of Thebes". All of the songs up to the song The Walls of Thebes play out into this commercial vein. Holding to their progressive beliefs, the song The Walls of Thebes is probably one of Amphions’ finest compositions.

All music and lyrics written by Damon Deemer. Matthew Stasko wrote his drum parts and turned in a fantastic performance. Staskos ability to give the songs exactly what they call for with nearly no effort, only emphasises his amazing talent on drums. Greg Smart wrote all his bass lines for this one, and took his playing to an even higher level. Deemer recalls being at Greg Smarts` apartment totally wasted and the both of them collaborating on the track The Walls Of Thebes. Greg came up with some great licks that were used in the song.
