I, John Douglas, Registered Agent of the Ethiopian World Federation Emperor Yekuno Amlak Local No. 16, Inc., situated in Seattle, Washington, began The Voice of Amlak on Sunday, the 23rd of July, 2001.  This is an electronic newsletter to help disseminate to the organization, and the world, the development of Local No. 16, and our glorious ancient Ethiopian Heritage. And so I opened the Voice of Amlak with the July 24th, 1937, Vol 1 #25 issue of the Voice of Ethiopia, the day after the earthday of His Imperial Majesty, to try to continue in the glorious works proposed by Him in the Constitution and By- Laws of this same mystic and blessed Organization, The Ethiopian World Federation Incorporated.

I first must give special credence to the main founder of this great organization, Emperor Haile I Selassie I, who sent his personal emissary, Dr. Malaku Bayen, to New York to establish the Ethiopian World Federation Inc.--which he did on August 25th, 1937.  Emperor Yekuno Amlak ruled as Emperor of Ethiopia from 1270 -- 1285.  He was the founder or "restorer," of the Solomonic dynasty (whose members were, and are, descendants from the love union of the Wise One, King Solomon of the nation Israel, and the Virgin Queen Makeda of Ethiopia, called Kush at that time).  We, as Ras Tafari people of these times, call this the Royal line of David.  So, I confirm that Haile Selassie I is the Root and Offspring of David and Seed of Solomon, and Ethiopia is the rightful progenitor (originator of a line of descent) of Israel Nation.  As Psalm 87 says,

"His foundation is in the Holy Mountains
The Lord loveth the Gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob (Israel)
Glorious things are spoken of thee oh city of JAH.  Selah.
I will make mention of Rahab, and Babylon to them that know I, (Rastafari)
Behold, oh Philistia and Tyre, and of Ethiopia ; this man was born there, (Harar)
And of Zion (Africa) it shall be said, 'This man and that man was born in her, 
and the highest himself shall establish her,'
The lord shall count when he writeth the people: 'that this man was born there,' (Ethiopia) Selah
Both the singers and players of Instrument shall be there, 'All my springs are in thee.' (Gihon)."

I give thanks and praises unto JAH for giving I the health, strength and knowledge to be able to present this newsletter to the world on behalf of the members and supporters of this mystic organization, the Ethiopian World Federation, Inc., and especially The Ethiopian World Federation Emperor Yekuno Amlak Local #16, Inc., of Seattle, Washington.   Jah Ras Tafari King Alpha and Queen Omega, Haile Selassie I Niyabinghi I.
