Color genetics are very interesting. For those of you just learning about the "creme" gene here are some basics
The creme gene is a dilution gene and is dominant. It will turn a chestnut into a palomino, a bay into a buckskin,
but black will remain the same color even though it has one creme gene--they are called smoky blacks and can produce
a "colored" horse.
