This invitation is offered by The Universe through one of Its aspects to know
yourself as an aspect of The Universe. It is offered to every being, and ignored by all but the few who choose
to hear. It is sung by the birds, displayed by flowering plants, carried by the wind in the aromas of procreation,
spoken elequently by brooks, streams, surfs and falls, and roared by feral creatures.
Those who
reject these invitations to pretend their separation and specialness live more shallow lives, fending off everything
that is not them, not their "kind", not their belief system, not their political persuasion, not their nationality and not
their species. Seeing themselves as would-be victims, they protect themselves from their own poor understanding.

What can the final goal be?
Each new thought extends the borders of Reality.
Isn't the purpose of the present,
to strive toward complex future,
variation, innovation?
To grope beyond past
concepts,
Toward that which we are capable of
becoming, doing, knowing?
Perhaps "God" is the interest, curiosity,
search, leading us
to distant lands, diverse cultures, different tunes.
Then follow your heart, open, free,
INQUIRE!
PURSUE! EXAMINE! PROBE! EXPLORE!

Invitations offered by The Universe are everywhere. They are mostly ignored. They
are either accepted or rejected by those who encounter and recognize them.
Those who accept
them are blessed in their worldly pursuits with good health and a feeling of fulfillment.
Those
who reject them must struggle to find their way through the maze of poor understanding that they, themselves, build, fraught
with conflicts and suffering. Blaming this on "others", they wage their wars in lesser realities unaware that they are their
own enemy.
