Acquisition and maintenance of Clarity

Everything we encounter, no matter how complicated and complex it may seem, springs forth from a simple and uncomplicated beginning. This is The First Cause. Understanding the nature of This Beginning and the subsequent ramifications enables searchers to better understand the condition and circumstance of their current reality. Not understanding how the circumstance came to be dooms the ignorer to a life of desperation and frustration.
To counter this, those who are ignorant of the fundamental conditions of their existence establish organizations that build and maintain protective barriers. This is their fortified effort to block out anything that might be thought provoking or contraversial. It is this that becomes the lesser reality in which they operate.

Very few people pause long enough to reflect on their own operation. Taking their "operational reality" and the attendant "mental arrangement" for granted, they react automatically to the conditions they encounter in life. This leaves them at the mercy of their emotions, combatting the shadows cast by their own poor understanding.
Only reflection brings peace. Otherwise, they are caught up in mental turmoil which they, themselves, create by their ignorance, along with the barriers they have constructed. Protecting themselves from that which they have not bothered to understand, they form alliances with others who are equally ignorant.

     It is accepted that no one person, particular group or religious persuasion has the total answer. All we can do is offer our point of view in the belief that, in doing so, and in listening to the opinions of others, we will approach a greater, more inclusive understanding.
     It is acknowledged, also, that often a greater, more inclusive understanding gets in the way of our day-to-day operation in the conventional reality of our time. Therefore, we cannot blame those who ignore what we might offer for their lack of reception. To do so is to insist our personal point of view and ignore the point of view of others.

The retention of clarity depends upon the acceptance of these precepts.
