As a way of helping America's overseas military families meet the high cost
of living abroad, Commissaries accept most types of coupons offered by food and product manufactures. Commissaries CANNOT accept "in-house" coupons issued by commercial grocery stores or supermarkets.
Commissaries located in foreign overseas areas accept coupons up to six months
after the expiration date stated on a coupon.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
Simply cut out coupons from you Sunday newspaper and bring them to one of our Post meetings. We have contacts with American Legion Posts and Auxiliaries overseas that we send these coupons to. In turn, the American Legion members overseas distribute these coupons to Commissary
shoppers in their community.
To help or Post save money, you can send can send coupons directly overseas since it costs the same
whether you send it to us or overseas. Postage to an APO address is considered
domestic mail by the US Postal Service.
