American Legion Riders continue to serve America as motorcycle riding members of the American Legion, the American Legion Auxiliary, and
the Sons of the American Legion.
American
Legion Riders are motorcycle riders who enjoy socializing on two-wheels while supporting the Aims and Purposes of the American
Legion. We are Legionnaires, Auxiliary, or Sons of the American Legion members
in good standing within our organizations; you do not have to be a member of Post 149 to participate in our Post activities. Of course, we prefer that you join our Post family, but you are welcome nonetheless.
There
are no additional dues, nor any separate meetings to attend to be an American Legion Rider in Paradise Post 149.
All you need is two wheels and a desire to help your fellow citizen as an American Legionnaire. Care to join us?
American Legion Riders were formed to:
· Participate in parades and other ceremonies that are in keeping with the Aims and Purposes of the
American Legion.
· Promote motorcycle safety programs and to provide a social atmosphere for American Legion members
who share similar interest.
· Use our Association to promote and support programs of the American Legion.
American Legion Riders are not a motorcycle club, and we do not practice motorcycle club rules or regulations. We are family-oriented, just as is our parent organization: the American Legion.
American Legion Riders welcome all riders, regardless of brand or style of motorcycle you ride. However,
to participate in some rides, you will need a motorcycle capable of highway speeds.
Most states require a motorcycle that is 350cc and larger to ride on freeways and Interstate highways.

With the wind in their faces
and bugs in their teeth,
they ride their mighty steeds
to help comrades in need.
They are called
American Legion Riders.
