The Nevada Patriot Guard:

Respecting, Protecting and Supporting Those Who Gave All.

Welcome to the Nevada Patriot Guard website.  Our mission is to honor the men and women of our armed forces, show our deepest respects for the families of our fallen heroes, and support their families in time of grief.  We do this by shielding the mourning family and friends from interruptions created by any protestor or group of protestors.

The Nevada Patriot Guard is the operational arm of the nationwide Patriot Guard movement.  Here in Nevada, we concentrate on the original intent of the Patriot Guard; giving honor to those who paid the ultimate price for freedom.  For information on national efforts, please go to www.patriotguard.org.

The Patriot Guard, being a national phenomenon, is a diverse effort on the part of many people.  We in Nevada, take great pride in our state motto of being Battle Born.  Our primary purpose is to support the families of our fellow Nevadans who have given the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country.  We request and expect that you give us the respect that we will give you.

The Patriot Guard is not a motorcycle club or a social club, and we do not restrict membership to motorcycle riders.  Anyone is welcome to join, including all riders regardless of club affiliation.  We simply ask that you help us give the proper respect due to our fallen heroes.  If you are interested in a riding group that focuses on Veteran causes, please consider joining the American Legion Riders in your area.

There are many other worthy causes as well, and we in the Patriot Guard encourage everyone to participate in those as well.  Because Nevada has the second highest per capita population of Veterans in the country, both State Veterans cemeteries need our support.  Should you have time available, we encourage you to support the State Veterans cemeteries in Boulder City and Fernley.

Plus our troops need support every day in numerous ways.  If you would like to do more for Veteran causes than what the Nevada Patriot Guard offers directly, we highly encourage you to join a service organization with the expertise and infrastructure in place to do so.  Some possibilities are The American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Vets, AMVETS, or one of their auxiliary units.  There are also many fraternal organizations that support your local community and veteran organizations as well, including the Elks, Eagles, and Rotary Club.

Does this repulse you?

These are members of a radical religious cult who travel across the nation to protest at the funerals of our fallen servicemen and servicewomen.  If you believe this behavior is an abomination, then come join us.

What we're fighting cannot be stopped by words; it can only be stopped by action.  This is how we stop them:
