WHO WE ARE

Community Bible study is an interdenominational Bible Study for men and women from all walks of life. It is an "every person's" class where people from different backgrounds and viewpoints can come together and be comfortable together. People with every level of Bible knowledge learn from each other. True community exists when the focus is on the unity we have in Christ rather than our differences.

InPrison Community Bible Study (InPrison CBS), which is a part of Community Bible Study (CBS), is for men and women who are incarcerated in prison. InPrison CBS incorporates several essential elements which, when properly implemented, will result in an "inprison community" in which members who have never studied the Bible and members who have studied extensively are equally comfortable. These elements include personal Bible study homework, corporate praise and worship, a "talk" or short lecture, small group discussion, fellowship and shepherding. Each person that attends InPrison CBS is supported by a Core Facilitator and fellow class members in their Core Group. Prayer is foundational to InPrison CBS.
