Support for Classes

Community Bible Study has a National Director of the InPrison CBS program. He fields questions about new start-up interests, helps volunteers organize a class, and coordinates the activity of existing classes. He has a small team of people of different gifts that help to expand the ministry and support the Teaching Directors involved in the classes. It is the goal of InPrison CBS to provide each Teaching Director with a shepherd for prayer and spiritual support. Often an "outside" CBS class adopts an InPrison class to add more prayer support.

CBS provides, free of charge, one set of lessons in either or both English and Spanish, one set of "Teaching Helps", and an answer guide to each InPrison class. The National Director is a resource for the selection process. There is a National Service Center for Community Bible Study in Herndon, Virginia fully staffed to aid in the development, production, and dissemination of materials, as well as lift up the ministry in prayer daily.
