Information
Neurosphinx has its territory in central North Carolina. We have enjoyed visiting bands in such venues as The Brewery
and Cat's Cradle. Most intense was Destruction & Cro-Mags at The Brewery in 1989. Honorably mentionable performances have
been given by Iron Maiden, Boltthrower, Voivod, Body Count, GWAR, Madball, Propain, Black Sabbath, Kreator, Jewel,
In Flames, Soul Brains, The Melvins, Prong, Valient Thorr, Slipknot, Agnostic Front, Chimaira, Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage,
Rob Zombie, and Rasputina.
Due to the extreme difficulty in organizing a finely-tuned musical assault, Neurosphinx exists as an open jazz forum,
and auditions by anyone who can stand the heat are welcomed.
Various members and fans have come and gone through the years. The reactor is not yet stable.
